    The Non-Violence Project is a global organization that has worked for over 30 years to prevent violence through education, inspiration, and creativity. The iconic knotted gun sculpture was originally created by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd in 1980 as a tribute to his friend John Lennon.
