    Who was Watanabe Seitei?

    Watanabe Seitei, or Shōtei, (1851–1918) was a Japanese artist and a pioneer of Nihonga, a term used to describe Japanese paintings produced in accordance with traditional techniques, styles and motifs. Seiteis is above all known for his depictions of birds and flowers.

    Product description

    The motif consists of densely placed stylized flowers with white petals and orange-red details against a black patterned background. Organic shapes and graphic outline create a classically Japanese feel. Watanabe Seitei's floral design makes this poster appreciated in both modern and traditional environments.

    We print our posters on a 200 gram semi-matte paper of the highest quality from the French manufacturer Clairefontaine. The paper is certified with FSC and our production is certified with Ecolable to ensure a sustainable production.
