    Who was Katsushika Hokusai?

    Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) is one of the most famous and influential artists in Japanese history. Hokusai was an incredibly prolific artist who created an enormous number of works during his lifetime, including paintings, woodcuts and book illustrations.

    Product description

    Waterfalls flow down over cliffs surrounded by dense green trees and bushes. In the foreground, several small figures can be seen contemplating nature. Deep blue, white and green tones characterize the motif, which was created by the Japanese master Katsushika Hokusai. He was one of the foremost ukiyo-e artists of the Edo period and is internationally recognized for his detailed nature and landscape motifs.

    We print our posters on a 200 gram semi-matte paper of the highest quality from the French manufacturer Clairefontaine. The paper is certified with FSC and our production is certified with Ecolable to ensure a sustainable production.
