    Who was Hilma af Klint?

    Hilma af Klint was a Swedish painter born October 26, 1862 at Karlberg Castle in Solna, Stockholm. She is regarded as a pioneer in abstract painting and is today celebrated worldwide. Her paintings are not only aesthetic works of art, but filled with symbols that can be deciphered. The works can thus be "read" as hidden messages.

    Product description

    Alterpiece No1 was painted by the Swedish artist Hilma af Klint in 1915. The motif consists of a large golden circle at the top and a wide triangular shape in the colors of the rainbow that extends downwards. Strict lines and clear color fields give the poster a graphic and balanced feel. Hilma af Klint was a pioneer in abstract art and known for her spiritual symbolism. This poster will make a statement in a living room or office where it adds artistic character.
