    Who was Piet Mondrian?

    Piet Mondrian, born 7 March 1872 in Amersfoort, Netherlands, died 1 February 1944 in New York, United States,  was a Dutch painter and art theoretician. He is known for being one of the pioneers of 20th-century abstract art, as he changed his artistic direction from figurative painting to an increasingly abstract style until he reached a point where his artistic vocabulary was reduced to simple geometric elements.

    Product description

    Poster with the painting "The Red Tree" by the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian from the years 1908-1910. Mondrian was a significant pioneer of abstract art and widely known for his compositions with geometric shapes and primary colors. He is considered one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.

    We print our posters on a 200 gram semi-matte paper of the highest quality from the French manufacturer Clairefontaine. The paper is certified with FSC and our production is certified with Ecolable to ensure a sustainable production.
