    Who was Eduard Leonhardi?

    Eduard Leonhardi, born 19 January 1828 in Freiberg, Germany, died 15 July 1905, was a 19th-century German artist especially remembered for his paintings of forest interiors and wilderness in the Romantic style. He is known as The Painter of the German Forest.
