    John Constable, born 11 June 1776 in East Bergholt, United Kingdom, died 31 March 1837 in London, United Kingdom. was an English romantic landscape painter. His early style has many qualities associated with his mature work, including a freshness of light, color, and touch. His usual subjects were scenes of ordinary daily life.
