    Who was Claude Monet?

    Claude Monet , born November 14, 1840 in Paris, died December 5, 1926 in Giverny in Eure, was a French artist. He is considered one of the pioneers of Impressionism in the second half of the 19th century, along with Auguste Renoir, Édouard Manet, Frédéric Bazille, Alfred Sisley, Edgar Degas and Camille Pissarro. Monet's painting Impression. Sunrise (1872) gave the name to the new movement.

    Product description

    The Poppy Field Near Argenteuil was painted by the French artist Claude Monet in 1873. A rolling summer field filled with red poppy flowers and green blades of grass spreads out in the motif, where two women with parasols walk among the flowers near Argenteuil. Soft brushstrokes and bright colors create an airy feeling. A classic poster that fits nicely in a living room or study.
