    Who was Utagawa Kuniyoshi?

    Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798–1861) was one of the most prominent and influential artists in the Japanese ukiyo-e woodcut tradition during the Edo period. Known for his bold use of color, dynamic compositions, and an often playful imagination, Kuniyoshi helped broaden the genre's thematic reach.

    Product description

    A traditional Japanese warrior in a colorful kimono is depicted in a powerful pose with two wooden staffs. Graphic patterns in green, red and white adorn the clothing, while the background is filled with red decorative details and Japanese calligraphy. This poster by Utagawa Kuniyoshi adds an artistic and historical feel to the room.
