    Who was Watanabe Seitei?

    Watanabe Seitei, or Shōtei, (1851–1918) was a Japanese artist and a pioneer of Nihonga, a term used to describe Japanese paintings produced in accordance with traditional techniques, styles and motifs. Seiteis is above all known for his depictions of birds and flowers.

    Product description

    Origami birds in white and red float above a surface with red and black details. The airy composition is characterized by thin lines and stylish shapes, which gives a graphic expression. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, this poster by Watanabe Seitei can elevate everything from the bedroom to the study.

    We print our posters on a 200 gram semi-matte paper of the highest quality from the French manufacturer Clairefontaine. The paper is certified with FSC and our production is certified with Ecolable to ensure a sustainable production.
