    Who was Ohara Koson?

    Ohara Koson (1877–1945), also known by the names Shōson and Hoson, was a prominent Japanese artist who specialized in kachō-e (pictures of flowers and birds). He is particularly appreciated for his delicate and detailed depictions of birds in various settings, from snow-covered landscapes to colorful flower gardens.

    Product description

    Branches of cherry trees with blue flowers spread out against a large, bright full moon and pale blue sky. The details in the flowers and the soft shadows create a calm and poetic expression. Ohara Koson's classic motif is suitable as a poster in both the living room and bedroom and contributes to a timeless, Japanese-inspired feel.
