    Who was Sō Shizan?

    Sō Shizan , born Kusumoto Hakkei (1733-1805), was a Japanese artist whose work is characterized as light in mood, often playful and with significant decorative impact. He was the adopted son of the well-known Edo master Sō Shiseki (1715-1786).

    Product description

    Plum tree branches filled with white and pink blossoms wind against a soft beige background where a large, pale moon is visible. Detailed and traditionally Japanese aesthetics characterize the motif of Sō Shizan. This poster conveys tranquility and is suitable for living rooms or bedrooms for a calm atmosphere.
