    Who was Ohara Koson?

    Ohara Koson (1877–1945), also known by the names Shōson and Hoson, was a prominent Japanese artist who specialized in kachō-e (pictures of flowers and birds). He is particularly appreciated for his delicate and detailed depictions of birds in various settings, from snow-covered landscapes to colorful flower gardens.

    Product description

    Two black crows fly in front of a clear full moon against a softly toned blue and white sky. The motif is executed in traditional Japanese woodblock print style by Ohara Koson and is an excellent poster for those who appreciate classic Japanese aesthetics. The image's calm color transitions contribute to a tranquil atmosphere in rooms such as hallways or bedrooms.
