    Who was Hiroaki Takahashi?

    Hiroaki Takahashi , also known by the artist name Shōtei, born 1871 and died 1945, was a Japanese artist. Takahashi's art is known for its richness of detail, delicate coloring and ability to capture the subtle shift in Japan's landscape and seasons.

    Product description

    Snow-capped mountains dominate the motif with soft grey and white hues and a pinkish sky in the background. Silhouettes of slender trees are visible in the foreground, creating a distinct Japanese feel.
