    Leo Gestel , born November 11, 1881, Woerden, died November 26, 1941, Hilversum, was a Dutch painter. Leo Gestel experimented with Cubism, Expressionism, Futurism and Post-Impressionism. Along with Piet Mondrian and Jan Sluyters, he was one of the leading artists within Dutch modernism.
