    Aelbert Cuyp (1620–1691) was a prominent Dutch landscape painter of the Golden Age, known for his harmonious scenes of grazing cattle and wide skies. His paintings are characterized by a soft light and a warm atmosphere, inspired by Italian landscape painting, which gives his work a timeless shimmer.
