Japandi poster with a Japanese woodcut of The Amida Falls in the Far Reaches of the Kisokaidō Road by Katsushika Hokusai
The motif consists of a high waterfall cascading down between steep cliffs, surrounded by lush green and yellow hills. At the edge are three people in traditional clothing. The blue and white color palette and graphic lines give a classic Japanese expression. Created by the Japanese master Katsushika Hokusai, one of the most important ukiyo-e artists of the Edo period with influence far beyond the borders of Japan, which gave the motif its timeless artistic feel.
