    Who was Ohara Koson?

    Ohara Koson (1877–1945), also known by the names Shōson and Hoson, was a prominent Japanese artist who specialized in kachō-e (pictures of flowers and birds). He is particularly appreciated for his delicate and detailed depictions of birds in various settings, from snow-covered landscapes to colorful flower gardens.

    Product description

    A crow sits firmly on a branch surrounded by white flowering cherry branches against a dull brownish-gray background. The nature motif's discreet color scheme and Japanese style give the poster a timeless expression. Ohara Koson's work fits nicely in a living room, bedroom or study where nature and tradition meet.
