    Who was Adolf Wolfli?

    Adolf Wölfli (1864–1930) was a Swiss artist known for his detailed and imaginative works created while under psychiatric care. Wölfli developed a unique, complex style filled with patterns, symbols and musical notes. His art became an important inspiration in outsider art and surrealism.
