    Who was Julius Paulsen?

    Julius Paulsen, born 22 October 1860 in Odense, Denmark. died 17 February 1940 in Copenhagen, Denmark, was a Danish painter and his works bear the influence of Realism, Symbolism, and Impressionism but he was also inspired by Dutch 17th-century art as can be seen in his painting Portrætgruppe (Portrait Group) from 1902 in Skagens Museum.

    Poster with the painting "Mother and Child" by the Danish artist Julius Paulsen from the year 1914. Julius Paulsen, born in 1860 in Odense, was a Danish painter, draftsman, graphic artist and art educator. He is best known for his portraits and landscape paintings.
