    Who was Pablo Picasso?

    Pablo Picasso , born October 25, 1881 in Málaga, Spain, died April 8, 1973 in Provence, France, is one of the world's most famous artists. He was colossally prolific and left behind at his death more than 13,000 canvases, 100,000 lithographs, 34,000 illustrations and 300 sculptures. He is considered, together with Georges Braque, to be the originator of Cubism. In May 2015, Picasso's painting "The Women of Algiers" was sold at an auction for just over 179 million dollars.

    Two faces drawn with a few black lines in a minimalist style dominate the motif and bring to mind Pablo Picasso's signature expression. The Spanish artist, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, is distinguished here by his iconic design language. The light background and simple composition give the poster a timeless feel. An aesthetically toned detail for the living room, hallway or office.
